Binance informs the Ethereum network of wallet maintenance on December 25. One hour of the suspension of deposits and withdrawals will commence at 05:55 UTC.

Binance has declared planned wallet upkeep of its Ethereum network. The exchange will freeze deposits and withdrawals on December 25, beginning at 06:00 UTC. 

Deposit and withdrawal services will be closed five minutes earlier at 05:55 UTC. The operations restart after the maintenance is done.

Trading Continues Despite Network Pause

The trading of Ethereum tokens continues during the maintenance period. Users are able to make trades continuously. Only deposit and withdrawal are impacted by the suspension.

Binance predicts that the maintenance will take about one hour. The exchange will resume services at the point of network stability, and no new announcement will be made after resumption.

Exchange Handles Technical Requirements Automatically

All technical operations are handled internally by Binance, and therefore, users do not need to take any action. The platform makes it easy to manage backend requirements.
