BitGo files S-1 form for IPO, revealing $3B revenue in 2024

2025/09/20 07:06

BitGo published its S-1 registration statement on Sept. 19, confirming plans for an initial public offering while revealing over $3 billion in revenue for 2024.

Financial data shared by Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart revealed a preliminary prospectus with significant revenue growth, from $926 million in 2023 to over $3 billion in 2024, representing more than 200% year-over-year expansion.

Six-month figures show revenue acceleration continuing into 2025, demonstrating sustained momentum in institutional crypto adoption.

Additionally, the filing confirms confidential paperwork submitted to the SEC on July 21 as the crypto custody firm prepares for a public market debut.

BitGo Holdings plans to list Class A common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “BTGO.” The company will maintain a dual-class structure, with Class A shares carrying one vote per share and Class B shares holding fifteen votes each.

Financial performance and platform growth

The filing reveals BitGo’s return to profitability, with a $156.5 million net income in 2024 compared to a $2.1 million loss in 2023.

Key business metrics demonstrate substantial platform expansion, with Assets on Platform reaching $89.9 billion in 2024, nearly tripling from $30.8 billion in 2023.

Client growth accelerated to 2,615 from 1,367 year-over-year, while assets staked surged to $31.8 billion from $6 billion. The user base expanded to 1.04 million from 959,813, reflecting growing institutional and retail adoption.

Six-month 2025 data shows continued momentum with $90.3 billion in assets on the platform and 4,621 clients, indicating accelerating market penetration. Operating expenses totaled $3.09 billion in 2024, primarily driven by $2.53 billion in digital asset sales costs.

Market position and regulatory strategy

BitGo specializes in institutional crypto custody solutions and trading platform infrastructure, positioning itself as regulatory frameworks mature.

The company recently obtained approval under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework, enabling pan-European custody services across all member states.

The firm pursues a national bank charter in the US, which would allow deeper integration with traditional banking infrastructure. This dual regulatory approach positions BitGo for expansion as institutional adoption accelerates globally.

The preliminary prospectus indicates existing shareholders will sell shares alongside the company’s offering, though specific share counts and pricing remain undisclosed. It also clarifies that co-founder and CEO Michael Belshe will maintain significant control through the dual-class structure.

The offering represents another crypto-native firm entering public markets as the digital asset sector matures.

Ethereum Price Prediction: ETH Eyes $7,000 and $10,000 as Next Key Targets While Mutuum Finance (MUTM) Positions for a 43x Price Pump

The post Ethereum Price Prediction: ETH Eyes $7,000 and $10,000 as Next Key Targets While Mutuum Finance (MUTM) Positions for a 43x Price Pump  appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Ethereum (ETH) is on the rise, with analysts eyeing $7,000 and even $10,000 as its next big targets. But while ETH’s overall direction remains strong, the real breakout coin could possibly be Mutuum Finance (MUTM). Sold at lows of $0.035 today, MUTM waits for a potential 43x price pump, thanks to its borrowing- and lending-clad utility-based DeFi protocol.  Mutuum Finance is offering investors the type of ground-floor potential ETH investors can’t ever see again. While capital seeks the next big performer, Mutuum Finance is rapidly becoming the coin to watch. Ethereum Sees $7,000-$10,000 On Building Signs Ethereum (ETH) is priced at $4,513.78, intraday ranging between $4,429.39 and $4,535.33. Momentum indicators are indicating steady firming up, volume has constricted, and support at $4,400-$4,500 is thought to be in place. For ETH to cross $7,000 or even $10,000 in subsequent cycles, it would ideally require positive macroeconomic contexts, continuous growth in DeFi adoption, and effective use of scaling solutions.  Whereas ETH is the incumbent with a de facto place at the smart contract layer and less of a spec play than the majority of altcoins, investors believe Mutuum Finance has the potential to offer returns higher than ETH’s in 2025. MUTM Presale Momentum and FOMO  Mutuum Finance offers investors the opportunity to be some of the project’s pioneers and invest in tokens at much less than they will be after launch. Available for sale at $0.035 per MUTM in presale Phase 6, the token will be priced at $0.04 in Phase 7. The presale has been successful, with over $16 million raised and over 16,400 token holders, which indicates positive sentiment among investors and trust in the market. To add a layer of protection for security, Mutuum Finance has launched an official Bug Bounty Program in partnership with CertiK that guarantees rewards…

Norway’s sovereign wealth fund has lost over $200M in MSTR

Norway’s sovereign wealth fund has lost over $200M in MSTR

The post Norway’s sovereign wealth fund has lost over $200M in MSTR appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Norges Bank, the central bank of Norway, has lost hundreds of millions of dollars on its Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) investment. Unlike the Federal Reserve and other central banks, Norges Bank invests directly into equities, including stock index constituents like Strategy’s common stock, MSTR. Sometimes, those investments go south. Indeed, the sovereign wealth fund has lost money this year on Canaan, MARA, and various public companies in the crypto sector. Norges Bank has been buying small amounts of MSTR since 2008 — before Strategy even became a bitcoin (BTC) treasury company — but ramped up its purchases during 2024.  As of June 30, 2024, Norway had invested $217 million in MSTR, giving it 0.89% ownership of the company. Fast forward to December 31, 2024, and its investment had grown to $514 million. Then, during the first half of 2025, it doubled its investment again from 5.8 billion to 11.9 billion Norwegian kroner — all at prices far above today’s value. It owned $1.18 billion worth of MSTR as of June 30, 2025, and has almost certainly been buying more since. Every Strategy investor has lost money this year Unfortunately, MSTR has lost 38% of its value since the start of the year, and has traded to new lows for seven months in 2025. Every MSTR purchase this year, by anyone, on any day, has lost money amid the relentless decline of Michael Saylor’s company. Chart of MSTR since January 1, 2025. Source: TradingView Although Norges Bank doesn’t itemize its purchases by date and size, it’s nonetheless easy to estimate its losses. The bank provides formal investment reports semi-annually in Norway. For its US holdings, it files quarterly or semi-annually via Securities and Exchange Commission form 13F filings. Based on these filings, we know that the bank holds 2,976,182 shares of MSTR…
