BNB Slips Despite Bullish Catalysts, Tests $849 Support

BNB has come under renewed pressure after losing key technical levels, signaling a short-term shift in momentum despite positive fundamental developments on the BNB Chain. The token recently slipped below the 50% Fibonacci retracement at $865.55 and fell under its 7-day simple moving average at $882.62, reinforcing a near-term bearish bias.

This pullback highlights a familiar market dynamic: bullish catalysts do not always translate into immediate price appreciation, particularly when broader technical structures weaken.

Outset PR enhances the effectiveness of its communication by aligning its workflow with current market attention. The agency diligently tracks ongoing developments—such as upgrades, governance proposals, and shifts in sector focus—to accurately determine the optimal moment for a narrative to achieve maximum resonance.

Technicals Point to Cautious Near-Term Outlook

Momentum indicators reflect a cooling trend rather than panic selling. The RSI at 44.55 remains neutral but is drifting closer to oversold territory, suggesting selling pressure is building without yet reaching exhaustion.

Price action is now centered around the $849–$866 support zone, which combines the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement with a key pivot level. This area is critical for maintaining the broader structure. A daily close below $849 would likely trigger stop-loss orders, opening the door for a move toward the $792.82 swing low.

Bullish Catalyst Fails to Lift Price

The recent decline came despite BNB Chain’s announcement of plans to launch a native stablecoin, aimed at unifying liquidity across DeFi applications and institutional use cases. The initiative is designed to strengthen capital efficiency within the ecosystem and improve composability between protocols.

However, the market appears to be pricing in execution risk and timing uncertainty rather than reacting immediately to the announcement. This hesitation suggests traders are prioritizing price structure and liquidity conditions over forward-looking narratives in the short term.

How Outset PR Optimizes PR Budgets and Delivers Tangible Results

The purpose of any PR campaign is to boost brand visibility. Traditionally, this has meant securing as many publications as possible, often with unpredictable outcomes. It was difficult to know how many readers would actually see a story, leaving much of PR to guesswork.

Actually, it had been guesswork until analysts of Outset PR developed Syndication Map—a proprietary tool that identifies which outlets attract the most traffic and where a story is likely to achieve the strongest syndication lift. Senior Media Analyst Maximilian Fondé explains:

If a company needs a top list article, we filter the table for media that publish this format, cross-check costs and placement conditions, and know within minutes which outlets to pitch. Over time, that builds into a comprehensive database of crypto-friendly publishers – something other players in the industry don't have right now.

Smarter Campaigns, Lower Costs

Campaigns built with Syndication Map are not about mass reach for its own sake. They are carefully crafted to serve specific goals. By narrowing the focus to the most effective outlets, Outset PR reduces unnecessary spending on low-impact publications.

Another key factor is communication. Outset PR’s dedicated Media Relations team, led by Anastasia Anisimova, has earned the trust of leading outlets through professionalism and genuine relationships.

Sincerity and friendliness are our core principles, earning us the trust of numerous media outlets. Unfortunately, not all agencies in our industry prioritize friendliness in their communications.

Extended Reach Through Syndication

Outset PR campaigns also achieve more visibility than clients initially pay for. Articles are frequently republished across aggregators and platforms such as CoinMarketCap and Binance Square, extending exposure far beyond the original placement. Well-placed articles can achieve up to ten times the outreach of the original post.

The case of StealthEX demonstrates this effect clearly: targeted tier-1 pitching led to 92 republications across outlets including CoinMarketCap, Binance Square, and Yahoo Finance, generating a total outreach of over 3 billion.

Outset PR Sets a New Standard

Pitching to a major outlet still has value, but syndication often delivers far greater reach at a lower cost. Outset PR has mastered this strategy, combining proprietary tools, strong media relations, and syndication opportunities to deliver results backed by numbers.

Early Signs of Stabilization Emerge

While momentum has weakened, not all signals are bearish. The MACD histogram remains positive at +2.14, indicating tentative bullish divergence. This suggests downside momentum may be slowing, increasing the probability of consolidation rather than a straight continuation lower.

If buyers defend the $849–$866 range, BNB could stabilize and form a base for a potential recovery attempt. Failure to hold this zone, however, would shift the focus firmly to lower support levels.

Outlook

BNB is navigating a technically sensitive phase. The loss of short-term support has weakened momentum, even as ecosystem developments remain constructive. The $849 level will likely determine whether the current move resolves as consolidation or extends into a deeper retracement.

Until price reclaims lost Fibonacci levels and short-term averages, the near-term outlook remains cautious, with traders closely monitoring support integrity amid mixed technical signals.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
