Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. Class A Common Stock, FIGR

The company expanded its blockchain strategy as it introduced new on-chain equity tools for public markets. The move signaled a broader push toward tokenized market structures that now attract growing corporate interest.

OPEN Network Expands On-Chain Equity Access

Figure launched its On-Chain Public Equity Network to bring real equity issuance directly to its Provenance blockchain. The system creates native digital shares that operate without synthetic structures. Moreover, the model enables direct share transfers with faster movement across counterparties.

OPEN also supports peer-to-peer stock lending without conventional intermediaries, and the structure aims to reduce friction in legacy systems. The framework aligns settlement and ownership updates within a unified ledger. Participants can view lending data with consistent accuracy and clear transaction trails.

Figure outlined the potential for broader corporate participation soon, as several firms review the framework for future issuance. Such interest includes digital asset treasury companies seeking additional ways to manage exposure. The model offers an alternative pathway for firms seeking tighter control over market infrastructure.

Equity Tokenization Gains Traction Across Markets

Tokenized equities advanced meaningfully during the past year as blockchain adoption widened among public and private issuers. Market data shows rising activity as companies test structures that streamline issuance and settlement. These systems now compete with traditional channels as on-chain volumes expand.

The segment reached an estimated $1.2 billion by late December, marking strong growth across new platforms. Monthly trading activity climbed toward $800 million as participants adopted tokenized instruments. This trend reflects a shift toward systems that support automated records and reduced operational delays.

More platforms also entered the space as demand strengthened across global markets. Firms introduced tokenized products that offer exposure to a broad range of equities. This wave of activity reinforces expectations that on-chain equity markets may accelerate through 2026.

FIGR’s Position Strengthens as Public Market Adoption Rises

Figure completed its public listing in September and raised nearly $800 million, and the company expanded its strategy rapidly afterward. The stock has more than doubled from its IPO price, and its market value now approaches $12 billion. This rise highlights the company’s role in shaping next-generation financial infrastructure.

The firm continues to link blockchain systems with regulated market structures to support broader equity distribution. OPEN’s design complements this strategy with tools that merge compliance and technology. As adoption grows, the company seeks to anchor a standardized framework for future issuers.

Figure plans additional product expansion as corporate demand increases through the year. The company aims to support more public issuers seeking efficient digital rails. This push positions the firm at the center of a growing market transition powered by tokenized assets.

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…
