In 2025, the cumulative trading volume on the Binance cryptocurrency exchange totaled more than $34 trillion across spot, futures, and onchain products. Over its entire operating history, the figure reached $145 trillion. The company told Incrypted this.

Over the year, Binance’s spot market trading volume exceeded $7.1 trillion. Users have access to 490 assets and 1,889 trading pairs. The derivatives segment covers 584 trading instruments, allowing institutional clients to hedge risks and implement complex trading strategies, according to the press release.

On the security front, Binance’s compliance teams processed more than 71,000 requests from law enforcement agencies across different jurisdictions over the year. Real-time monitoring systems prevented losses totaling $6.69 billion for 5.4 million users. Overall, the impact of illicit activity fell by 96% compared with 2023.

In addition, in 2025, more than 17 million users gained access to Web3 products via Alpha 2.0. Total onchain activity exceeded $1 trillion. The ecosystem ran 254 airdrops, distributing $782 million to users.

Binance also integrated Binance Pay into the services of more than 20 million merchants worldwide, and via Binance Earn, users deposited $1.2 billion, demonstrating a high level of long-term interest in products beyond traditional trading, Binance noted.

Now, whenever the AI agent tries to make a payment, it must present this mandate as proof of authorization, which will then be verified via the AP2 protocol.
