PANews reported on January 31 that, according to official data, in the seven days ending January 29, Circle issued approximately 5.2 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 8.6 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 3.4 billion USDC in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is 70.2 billion, with reserves of approximately $70.3 billion, including approximately $41.2 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $18.8 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $9.4 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $1 billion from other bank deposits.
