ING Deutschland (ING-DiBa), one of Germany’s largest retail brokerage firms, has made a significant move into cryptocurrency.

According to the official announcement, ING Germany has started allowing individual customers to buy and sell cryptocurrency ETPs.

ING Deutschland, one of Germany’s largest financial institutions, has launched a cryptocurrency exchange-traded product (ETP) trading service for individual investors.

With this move, ING enables its customers to invest directly in ETPs that track indices for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP through their securities accounts.

At this point, the bank enabled its customers to invest in Bitcoin ETPs, as well as gain access to Ethereum, Solana (including staking-enabled variants), and crypto index ETPs.

It was also stated that partnerships have been established with 21Shares, VanEck, Bitwise, iShares (BlackRock), and WisdomTree to offer ETN cryptocurrencies to their customers.
