TBC Bank Uzbekistan is rapidly solidifying its position as a key player in Central Asia’s digital banking landscape. With over 22 million unique registered users—representing more than half of Uzbekistan’s population – the bank is driving an ongoing transformation in the way financial services are delivered across the country.

This digital transformation is not just about making banking services available online; it’s about creating a seamlessly integrated financial ecosystem. From everyday banking to more sophisticated services like loans and payments, TBC Uzbekistan is offering accessible solutions for both individuals and businesses. The increasing demand for a tool like “omonat kalkulyatori” as customers call it and financial products like “вклады в узбекистане” reflects a broader shift towards tech-driven financial solutions that prioritize convenience and efficiency.

Digital Banking for Businesses and Consumers Alike

TBC Uzbekistan’s continued growth is driven by its commitment to digitalisation and its ability to meet the demands of an increasingly mobile-first customer base. The bank has introduced several groundbreaking products that have redefined the way Uzbekistan’s businesses and consumers interact with financial services. A prime example is TBC Business, a digital platform providing entrepreneurs with easy access to business banking services and lending solutions.

The newly launched digital lending product offers businesses the ability to apply for short-term loans up to UZS 300 million (roughly $23,000) with repayment terms extending to three years. Initially launched in a testing phase, this product is set for full rollout in the coming months. The key innovation here is the drastic reduction in application time and paperwork, providing quicker access to financing for businesses that may have previously found it challenging to secure credit.

Rising Demand for Digital Financial Services

Uzbekistan’s economy is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by technological advances, and TBC Uzbekistan is playing a central role in shaping this shift. The country’s young, digitally connected population is increasingly seeking financial solutions that are flexible and accessible on mobile platforms. This demand for digital-first financial tools is reflected in the growing interest in online savings and investment products, which offer consumers mobile-friendly, convenient options for managing their finances.

As part of its broader strategy, TBC Uzbekistan is positioning itself as a leader in Uzbekistan’s digital banking space. By continually introducing new and improved products, the bank is addressing the needs of a customer base that expects fast, efficient, and user-friendly financial solutions.

Embracing Artificial Intelligence for Future Growth

In addition to its digital banking products, TBC Uzbekistan is investing heavily in artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance its services and create more personalized customer experiences. The bank’s AI-driven approach is aimed at transforming various financial touchpoints, from sales and customer service to loan processing and payment reminders.

By mid-2025, TBC Uzbekistan had already launched several AI initiatives, including AI-powered agents to handle sales inquiries and payment reminder calls for customers at risk of delinquency. These AI systems have not only improved service efficiency but also reduced customer acquisition costs. Looking ahead, the bank plans to introduce a voice-based AI assistant in its mobile app, further enhancing its customer experience by providing personalized support.

Strengthening Partnerships and Expanding the Ecosystem

The success of TBC Uzbekistan is also fueled by its strategic international partnerships with organizations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). These alliances have allowed the bank to scale rapidly and expand its digital ecosystem, which now includes products such as TBC Business, Payme, Payme Nasiya, and TBC Insurance.

Additionally, TBC Uzbekistan has recently made strategic acquisitions to expand its offerings. The bank acquired BILLZ, a leading retail management platform, and OLX Uzbekistan, the country’s top online classifieds platform. These acquisitions will not only expand TBC’s service offerings but also create new growth opportunities by integrating advanced technologies into its ecosystem.

Looking Ahead: Building the Future of Banking in Uzbekistan

TBC Uzbekistan’s digital-first approach has made it one of the most important players in the ongoing digitisation of Uzbekistan’s economy. The country’s increasing adoption of mobile payments and online banking solutions speaks to the growing demand for digital financial tools.

By continuing to invest in AI and digital banking infrastructure, TBC Bank Uzbekistan is setting a new standard for financial services in the region. As the bank’s ecosystem continues to grow and new products are introduced, TBC Uzbekistan is well-positioned to lead Uzbekistan’s financial sector into a new era of digital transformation.

DBS Tests Repo With Ripple RLUSD and Franklin sgBENJI

The post DBS Tests Repo With Ripple RLUSD and Franklin sgBENJI appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Ripple, DBS, and Franklin Templeton launch tokenized repo pilot on DBS Exchange. Repo trades use Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin and Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI token. sgBENJI issued on XRP Ledger enables fast collateralized lending and settlements. DBS, Ripple, and Franklin Templeton have signed a memorandum of understanding to bring repo transactions into tokenized finance. The framework pairs Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin with Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI tokenized money market fund, listed on DBS Digital Exchange. The setup gives accredited clients a path to rebalance cash into a regulated, yield-bearing vehicle while transacting with stablecoins that settle within minutes. For institutions used to overnight repo desks, this is a first look at how traditional liquidity tools can migrate onto public blockchains. Related: Franklin Templeton Launches its DeFi Solution Benji on Ethereum Demand From Institutions Shapes the Design The three firms cited rising demand for digital asset allocations, with surveys showing nearly nine in ten institutional investors plan to increase exposure in 2025. The repo model was chosen because it mirrors an existing backbone of global funding markets: collateralized lending against short-term securities. By allowing RLUSD to trade directly against sgBENJI on DBS Digital Exchange, desks can manage intraday liquidity, park stablecoin reserves into a fund earning regulated yield, and unwind positions quickly when cash is needed. DBS to Expand Collateralized Lending The next phase extends sgBENJI beyond a trading instrument into repo collateral. DBS plans to let investors pledge sgBENJI against credit lines arranged through the bank or third-party lenders. That opens deeper liquidity pools with the assurance that collateral sits inside a regulated balance sheet. For trading desks, that means onchain repo could eventually function like its traditional counterpart, rolling positions overnight, secured by tokenized assets that settle in near real-time.
